On the fence about buying this lens. I would apprecaite seeing the bokeh wide open and overall IQ.

My first video with the 5D mark II + Contax N Planar 50mm f/1.4 shot entirely wide open using the new LiveView Aperture Control feature.
YouTube compression does not do justice to the lens. The original MOV file was a lot better.

I know we are not supposed to say it but... WOW! that was a great shot.
If that bokeh was strait from the camera with no PP (and I'm sure it was) , then I am just going to have to get a 50 mm converted.
That picture sure got me off the fence. Nice job!
