Conurus,
I just saw your note in the "order" section of this site. If the hold on new orders, until 2010/07, includes the Nam-1, as I expect it does, I will wait until after that date and send in mine. We can go to Whistler next year.
Regards,
Arlen |

Are there NAM-1 's actually for sale out there? I've been keeping my eyes open since this was announced and I haven't seen any for sale.

Wow! That is surely a very steep price for the NAM-1 adapter! I use mine 645 optics on my N-1 with my NAM-1 adapter.
Eventually I will convert it over with Conurus.

| Thanks doctorb. I never thought of checking there...they are a local store for me. The price is a bit steep though. I'll have to give them a visit and see if they can give me a deal on such old stock. |

Dear Bo Ming
I would like to know if the camera battery life will be reduced when using C645 lens. Does the electrical current to drvie C645 lens is within the camera capacity? |

| Yes, we tested all the 8 C645 lenses except the 350/4 and found their current consumption to be well within the camera body's capability, and similar to other lenses. |

Mr. Bo-Ming,
Does the converted NAM-1 support Canon 5d II ? I have one NAM-1 in hand now and ready to send to you. Are you accepting new order currently? Thanks.

|
|
Hi,
I am looking for feedback on what the advantage is of using Contax 645 lenses via the converted NAM-1 versus using converted Contax "N" lenses on my 5DII. Is there a difference in image quality? What is the focal length multiplier?
I have the entire Contax 645 lens set but don't see what their advantage would be. They are very much larger than the Contax N lenses. If the NAM adapter could be shifted, that would be great but this is not the case.
So, why do it?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Does anyone have images they can share?

Hello bird,
I mailed my nam-1 yesterday by USPS express mail. You should get it in a few days. Let me know if you need anything further from me to complete this upgrade.
When do you deposit the check? When you receive it or when you do the conversion?
Regards,
